Warranty

In conjunction with the different brands, your watch is warranted by Tictactime for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions in this warranty. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased watch.

During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate, you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. In the event that repairs are improper to restore the normal conditions of use of your watch, the brand guarantees its replacement by a watch of identical or similar characteristics.
The warranty for the replacement watch ends twenty-four (24) months after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.

This warranty does not cover:

- The life of the battery.
- Normal wear and tear and aging (for ex. scratched crystal, alteration of the colour and/or material of non metallic straps and chains, such as leather, textile or rubber).
- Any damage resulting from inappropriate/abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the operating instructions.

Duration of the warranty:

- From twenty-four (24) months for watches.
- From twelve (12) months up to a lifetime warranty for certain brands. This information is available on the product page.

Obligations

- During and after the warranty period Tictactime.com does not accept any responsibility for work carried out by a workshop or person which is not authorised by Tictactime.com. This will void all or part of the warranty contract and any work to restore the product to its original condition will not be free of charge.
- Tictactime.com does not accept any modified or altered warranty certificates, or photocopies of the certificate. Only the original is valid.
- These provisions do not, under any circumstances, reduce or remove the legal warranty against latent defects or the manufacturer’s contractual warranty (please see the individual product certificate). In any event, the customer is entitled to the “garantie légale d'éviction et des vices caches” (legal warranty against dispossession and latent defects) (Art. 1625 et seq of the French Civil Code).
- The warranty contract does not give the right to compensation in cash or in kind.
- Postage, insurance and shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, the owner of the product.
